Receptionist Job Description:
Being a receptionist at Klein Investment Strategies will require you to be comfortable greeting visitors, answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and performing general administrative tasks like data entry, mailing, and filing. You will be our first point of contact for our clients, so you will be responsible for providing a professional and welcoming environment, ensuring the reception area is tidy, and supporting office operations.
Responsibilities
Guest and Visitor Services: Greet and check in visitors while ensuring a positive first impression.
Communication: Answer, screen, and forward phone calls, as well as handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
Scheduling: Manage appointment calendars and schedule meetings.
Administrative Support: Perform data entry, file documents, maintain records, and assist with other clerical tasks like photocopying, faxing, and sending packages.
Office Management: Keep the reception area clean and organized, and monitor and restock office supplies.
Security: Monitor access to the office and follow security procedures for the building.
Skills and qualifications
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and staff.
Customer Service: A professional and friendly attitude is crucial for being the face of the company.
Organization: The ability to multitask and manage time effectively is necessary to handle various duties and interruptions.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in common office software, such as the Microsoft Office Suite.
Problem-Solving: Being resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (possibly Wednesdays) 9 am to 1 pm.
Compensation: $22-$25 an hour, based on experience.
